Memory Walk & Jog 2016
Hi beauties!!!!! I looks like I had a long break from my blog haha. Ah life, why you make me so busy?? Anyways, I have been doing regularly is my Couch to 5k (C25K) training sessions. If you follow me on my Instagram, you may have seen a few pics of me post jog. I just finished day 21 of the program since starting it at the beginning of the year. I can jog 3.8km in 25 min which I am super excited about.
Tine from Beautyholics Anonymous, who blogged about C25K programs, recommended that I try for a fun run to give a goal and motivation to keep up with my training. Last month, I decided that my first fun run would be the Memory Walk & Fun for Alzheimer's Australia held in the Illawarra this Sunday! Every time I think about not training, I have this on the back of my mind to remind me of this goal.
The Memory Walk & Jog raises money for Alzheimer's Australia. The funds raised will go towards providing support services, education and social research to those affected by dementia. I have set up a fundraising page and I cannot believe I have just reached my target thanks to the generous donations people have made!
