Kat's Cambridge Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a lovely time over the festive weekend. This is my first Christmas outside Australia and away from the sun and heat of Sydney weather! I had a lovely Christmas with hubby, the cats and one of our friends spent some time with us over the weekend which was lovely. Here's some photos of our Christmas!

BURY ST EDMUNDS

Hubby, Miss B and I visited Bury St Edmunds on route to the east coast. We walked around the cathedral and abbey before having lunch at Bill's. We also walked through their local street stalls and cute shops. It was only about 3pm before we left Bury St Edmunds, however it was going to be another hour before we reached the coast and by that time, the sun would have set. We didn't calculate our times right! Oh well, next time we'll visit the coast and see some wildlife.

CHRISTMAS

We continued hubby's family tradition by watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on Christmas Eve - I actually stayed awake for the whole movie which I haven't done in a while! Then Christmas Day was spent prepping and getting lunch ready before we got to opening presents! I haven't cooked Christmas lunch before and I'm glad everything was cooked and edible (even though we forgot a few things). I don't know how people get the timings right for all of the ingredients. I also loved being able to wear Christmas jumpers!
