A Hen's High Tea | Revesby Workers Club

A couple of weekends ago, the lovely ladies from work (school not the chemists) took me out to a high tea to celebrate my upcoming marriage. It was lovely to have someone organise this for me (thank you Mrs LM!) as I've been doing a lot of that lately. We went to Revesby Worker's Club which was an unusual place to hold a high tea but was a recommendation. It was a good idea as it only took me about 40 minutes to get there whereas the city would have been further to travel. 

We began with the staff asking what tea we would like to have and I went with the classic green tea. It came in a big teapot and I think I got 2 and half cups out of it and I also got it topped up as well. Food wise, the nibblies came on three tiers. The bottom plate consisted of three different finger sandwiches, cucumber, chicken and ham. The next plate had the biggest scones I've ever seen and the smallest quiches (??? I think) I've ever seen!!! And lastly on the top plate were beautiful soft brownies with a melting moment on top. Yummo!!!

I was spoilt with gorgeous gifts! A huge tea set with matching cake stand. I must have people over for mini tea parties now.

High tea at Revesby Worker's Club was a great experience. For the price pp for this menu, I was very happy with what we were given. Very affordable! They also have other menus with varying prices here. Thank you to everyone to came to the high tea and all the well wishes and your excitement!!
