FotD | Spring Face

Sometimes I get into a routine of using the same items for my face makeup for days or even a couple of weeks! After a few days, I get pretty quick at getting ready. I guess choosing what colours to put together takes up the most time! Here's the makeup look I was sporting during the last school holidays.

As always, eyes first. Priming the lids with the trusty Milani eyeshadow primer before filling in my brows with this now tiny Maybelline Master Precise brow pencil (dark brown). I love that it has a spooly at the end for brushing the product through the brows. The brows are finished with Maybelline Brow Drama (transparent) to keep the hairs in place. Over the eyelid primer goes Maybelline Color Tattoo Metals (Barely Branded) as a base for Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette (milk chocolate, creme brulee, hazelnut and champagne truffle). I've been really enjoying tightlining my upper lash line instead of lining it and I've been using Maybelline Master Liner to do this. After curling my lashes with Shu Uemura lash curler, I add a couple of coats of Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.

Now on to the face! I've been loving this combination of products lately! I prime the centre areas of my face with Napoleon Perdis Pore Minimiser and for the rest of my face I use Mecca Cosmetica Lit from Within Illuminating primer. My base includes Illamasqua Skin Base (SB08), Nars Radiant Creamy concealer (Custard) and Maybelline Matte Maker (natural beige). I've also been trying to 'bake' my under eye area and T-zone with Illamasqua Translucent Loose powder and most of the time it gives a nice smooth finish.

To add some colour back into my face, I do a bit of sculpting with Benefit Hoola bronzer and cheek colour with Nyx blush (Angel). I love the highlight shade in Napoleon Perdis The Ultimate Contour palette and I use this on top of the cheeks and temple. For the lips, I love the bright coral pop with Covergirl Colorlicious lipstick (Succulent Cherry).
