Napoleon Perdis Cotton Butter Lip Balm Trio | Review

Hi lovelies! I feel like I haven't done a review in such a long time! Today, I'll be mentioning the Napoleon Perdis Cotton Butter Lip Balm Trio. I bought this after I went to my first Napoleon VIP night back in May and the MUA used one of these on my lips and cheeks and I loved it! Unfortunately, I couldn't buy it alone as it came in a pack but that's not too bad, I guess. Let's see how they look!

So, another jumbo lip balm (or three) to add to my collection. I actually don't own that many *surprise*, I think I only have three MaxFactor ones and they need to be sharpened (too lazy for that). The Cotton Butter Lip Balms are a twist up jumbo pencil which contains soothing and moisturising ingredients such as cotton butter (never heard of it), vitamin E and hectorite (sounds like a mineral). The lip balms come in three shades, Kris, Sigrid and Doreen. Apparently they are named after actual employees from the company! The shades apply nicely on the lips with a glossy finish. They are not sheer and the colours are very natural. The texture is smooth and has some slip which means lasting power isn't that great. Luckily, I can easily reapply these without a mirror.

Kris - A cute, soft pink which will be lovely for spring
Sigrid - A my lips but glowier (haha). This shade was used on me on the VIP night and on also my cheeks as a cream blush. Love this shade!
Doreen - A very nude nude on me. Luckily my lips are a little bit pigments so I don't look that pale with this shade on. This might be better for those with a fairer complexion than me.

A nice amount of product

Overall, I think they are a nice edition if you like easy to apply, no fuss natural lip colours.
