EotD | Mad for Mauve
First day of May! I've dug up another Maybelline eyeshadow for my look today. This quad is from their original Eye Studio range which has been unfortunately discontinued. Drats, I really like this range!
Mad for Mauve contain four shimmer shadows - a light pink, pinky mauve, olive green and burgundy plum. These shadows are more pigmented than the ones from Designer Chocolates but still not incredibly pigmented. They apply smoothly and blend very well. I used a shimmery white cream as a base for the green to help the colour pop. I found the last dark shade a bit disappointing for the look I was creating as it didn't show up that dark on me but it would be nice for a single eyeshadow look.
After primer and using some matte shades on the brow bone and a little in the crease, I mixed the first and second shades into the crease. I added a little of Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese on to the mobile lid before patting on the green shade. I added the burgundy shade to the outer corner. Then finished with gel liner and mascara.
For the rest of my face, I used Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, Nars Radiant Creamy concealer and Illamasqua Translucent Powder. The usual FoA Eyebrow Kit for my brows, Crush Cosmetics Blush & Contour palette for blush and contour and the highlight from Napoleon Perdis Ultimate Contour Palette for some glow. The lippy I'm wearing is Miss Georgina from Shanghai Suzy which I think is from last year's collection.
Can you handle more photos of my face?!!?! Haha. I really like how the foundation turned out on my skin. Not cakey at all for a full coverage foundation. I was hoping this would stay on in the rain today!!

Do you like full coverage foundations?
