NotD | Autumn Florals

My back has been a bit sore this week. I think it's the combination of trying acrobatics for the first time and doing squatting and deadlifting during my workouts. Hopefully, it's just muscle soreness and I will be back to normal next week! Here's a cute nail design I wore earlier this week.

I got the inspiration from Janelle's video on Elleandish and changed the colours to suit what I was feeling at the time. I realised at the time that my purple polish was getting a bit thick but it was still workable.

After treatment and base coat with the usual suspects, I used Rimmel polish in Lively Lilac and White Hot Love and Covergirl in Midnight Magic. I love the tiny sparkles of Midnight Magic but it does need about three thin coats to get a nice coverage.

Then I made purple flowers with the brush from the Lively Lilac polish. Using the brush of Rimmel Limealicious, I made little leaf-like strokes on the purple nails and around the purple flowers. I used a tiny dotting tool in L'Oreal Black Swan to put on little dots on the flowers. Easy!

What nail looks have you been sporting lately?

  3. Thank you! It was such a random pairing as I didn't have similar polishes to the tutorial.
