St Pat's Day Makeup Re-Do

It's so rainy and grey outside today! A perfect excuse to sit here on the couch with Moose on my lap and getting this post out to you! Last Tuesday was St Patrick's Day and of course I wanted to create an eyeshadow look to suit the occasion. I never plan out my makeup so everything I did was made up on the spot. I had to search very hard to find some green eyeshadows!

I ended up finding four green shades and ended up using three of them even though one didn't really make much difference. I primed my lids with Milani Eyeshadow Primer and lightly dusted over with some face powder. I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese on the inner two thirds of my lids and smoothed it out with a brush. Over the white base, I used Lanmei Loose Eyeshadow in 046 (I got a small sample in a Crush Cosmetics order). On the rest of the lid, I added the green shade from NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette in Strike A Pose and blended it a little higher above the natural fold of my lid. To deepen the outer corner, I used the shade called Eden from Sleek MakeUp i-Divine Ultra Matts V2 Palette.  I also used all the green shades on my lower lash line. The of my eye makeup consisted of Napoleon Perdis China Doll Gel Liner in Yin, Milani LiquifEye liner in black and Maybelline The Falsies and Big Eyes mascaras.

The rest of my face makeup consisted of Illamasqua Satin Primer and Skin Base (SB 08), Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (Custard), Maybelline Matte Maker (Natural Beige), Napoleon Perdis Greatest Hits Cheek Palette (all shades) and Mattetastic Lipstick (Ava).

I hope you liked the look!!

Did you do anything special for St Patrick's Day?
