Charlotte Tilbury Mini Lipstick Charms

It is nice to treat myself to something luxury from time to time. I've always wanted to try something from the Charlotte Tilbury brand. Her products look so glamorous and very high end and I always read great reviews about them. So for Christmas, I picked up the tiny lipstick charms as a present for myself. Because you're worth it... XD
Since watching recommendations from Aussie YouTuber, Rachael Annear, a couple of years ago about some of the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, they've been on my wishlist but wasn't ready to shell out about $50 AUD (£23) for a lipstick since I knew I wouldn't wear it all the time.

The trio of mini lipsticks were such a good idea! I've seen two versions, one which included the K.I.S.S.I.N.G finish and the other, containing the Matte Revolution finish. I picked up the latter as it was the one available at the time and I actually wanted this one anyway!
The Matte Revolution Mini Lipstick Charms contain 3 mini lipsticks in the popular shades Very Victoria, Amazing Grace and Red Carpet Red. They come in lovely gold tubes with little stars printed on the lid and a ribbon attachment. Unlike the full sized versions, the lipstick bullets have a traditional finish and not the angled square tip. I guess it would be hard to achieve on such a teeny product! Each lipstick contains 1g of product (full sized has 3.5g). The price for this set was $60 AUD and £29 in the UK (which I thought was a better deal).
Very Victoria | taupe nude
Amazing Grace | tea rose
Red Carpet Red | ruby red
L-R: Very Victoria | Amazing Grace | Red Carpet Red
The Matte Revolution lipsticks contains something called Lipstick Tree extract which helps with hydrating and protecting the lips, triglycerides helps with a smooth product application and 3D glowing pigments providing a fuller look to the lips.

For a matte formula, the lipsticks glides on the lips very smoothly and I can achieve complete coverage in 2-3 swipes. The longevity of the lipsticks are quite good as I get about 4 hours wear before reapplying (if I remember) after drinks and meals. I was super pleased with the red shade as it held up so well after a Christmas Eve lunch! I've worn Very Victoria a lot prior to Christmas as it suited the cooler days and not too in your face. Red Carpet Red came out during the festivities and throughout all of the feastings. I have yet to wear Amazing Grace out yet but I will probably try it in the spring time. The formula is super comfortable however, there can be a time where you can feel some dryness on the lips after a little while depending on the condition of the lips. Amazing Grace can enhance some dry areas as well. A good scrub and balm should do the trick though.

Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase and that I got to try out a luxury brand. If I was in Australia, I probably wouldn't have bought it (or the full size) as it's out of my price range for something I don't use often enough. But the prices in the UK are quite good, so it doesn't hurt the wallet too much.
