Empties | End of 2016

Since moving to the UK in September, I have amazingly accumulated some products that I have finished. Some products I brought over from Australia and others I purchased post-move. There's not too much to post about this time around but I'm hoping there'll be some makeup-type products in the next empties post.

BATISTE On The Go Dry Shampoo Original Mini
Dry shampoo is such a lifesaver!! I have been enjoying this brand for many years and has suited my third day hair quite well. I have repurchased it in the larger can and in the brown shade so I don't have to worry about brushing the product through that thoroughly.

DOVE Advanced Hair Series Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo
Cambridge water is so hard! It's so drying on my hair which made it knotty for the first time in so long (and I usually don't brush my hair!). I've tried the dry oil from Dove which I loved the previous year and thought to try the shampoo this time around. It did a nice job with gently washing my scalp and worked well with the water. I have repurchased this (and the dry oil).

L'OREAL Elvive Colour Protect Conditioner
At the time the Dove conditioner was sold out so I had to buy a different one. This one from L'Oreal I have used before although it didn't perform well at all. I'm not sure if it's in combination with the hard water but my hair did not feel moisturised after using it. I was glad when it was finished!
LUSH The Olive Branch Shower Gel
One of my favourite scents/range from Lush! It doesn't have an overpowering scent yet it gives a very fresh vibe with hints of citrus. The olive oil leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft afterwards. I highly recommend this one!

THE BODY SHOP Spiced Apple Shower Gel
This is my favourite festive scent from TBS!! OMG, this smells so delicious! Hubby is also a fan of this one! I'm so sad that this only comes out during Christmas. I should have stocked up!

L'OCCITANE Soft Shower Gel
This was a going away give from a colleague. This is a lovely luxury brand and I was trying not to use it up too quickly.

CUSSONS Carex Moisture Plus Handwash
I don't know how this ended up in my empties bag... but here is a finished handwash! Haha. This was purchased in Poundland (dollar shop equivalent). It did the trick.
NIP + FAB Glycolic Cleansing Fix Cleanser
I really like this brand to use on my combi/oily skin especially when I get some bumps on my face. This cleanser was deep cleaning as it slightly foamed up. The glycolic acid helped with gentle exfoliation which left my skin feeling smooth and cleansed.

SUKIN Moisture Restoring Night Cream
I love products from Sukin as they are super gentle on my skin (although my skin isn't very reactive) as there's no 'nasty chemicals'. This is my second (or third) jar of this night cream. It is quite light in consistency yet provides a lot of moisture to the skin. I'm trying a different brand currently to get me through the winter months. I am happy to know that Sukin is sold here in the UK as well!

MANICARE Emery Board
Good ol' nail file. I'm back to painting my nails now so I'll be going through a number of these this year.
