Missing The Love

I was a bit sad spending my eighth Valentine's day with the usual day at work and coming home to two beautiful kitties but without my man. With him being all the way on the other side of the world did feel lonely. I'm glad he knows how to make me feel better as I found these at my front door:

I don't mind the odd bunch of flowers every now and then. I love how they are arranged and the type of impact they make in a room. They were originally kept with me but I was informed that the lilies were poisonous to the cats so I put them on my fridge. But I couldn't see them and they almost fell on my head so into the main house they went!

Ok. So when I read the card I did have a little cry...

And from my IG, this is my FotD for V day, although I did hold off the lippie until after lunch to avoid getting it all over my face when I ate. I used the Australis IntensifEye eyeshadow palette and Rimmel Apocalips in Stellar.

Oh! And another bunch of flowers arrived mid-week. These were from a lovely elderly lady down the street as a thank you for returning her little dog. She is so cute!

Well I was a very spoilt girl. I couldn't believe Daniel would like to doing this when he had so much to do with going overseas and a new uni. I was quite surprised indeed!

...I don't normally pay much attention to this particular day... waaayy too much money gets spent. But this time was a little different =)
