A New Place For My Pennies

Hi everyone! What a way to start March off.... a week later... Never mind. I've caught up on some sleep and I'm ready to go! Last week, I was on the hunt for a new everyday bag as my current one is fraying all over the place and releases bits of it into the wild. I went into Strandbands which was having a sale at the time and came out with things other than a new bag.

So instead of a bag, I bought a wallet and a coin purse, both from the brand Bluebird which is a go-to brand for me. I already had a coin purse that Daniel's parents got me from Europe but as soon as I saw this one, I couldn't resist!! It's soooo cute! It's a small coin purse made of a synthetic material and has a metal clip closure. 

Getting a new wallet wasn't on the agenda but I really want to go to the counter with just a coin purse. The state of my previous wallet wasn't as bad as my bag but it was faded and frayed. This Bluebird wallet is long and slim(ish) with a synthetic, almost plastic cover. It has three panels inside which contains 13 card slots, two slits behind the card slot panels, an area for the notes next to a zippered coin section and a zippered coin section on the back. The wallet folds up and closes with a metal turn lock.

• Haven't done one of these in a zillion years!
• Had our school's open day/night yesterday. I set up the science labs for the littlies to come through and have a play around with things
• I fell on my tailbone last week during dance practise - it hurt a lot for a couple of days
• Slowly ticking off things for the wedding - dress, venue, celebrant....
• Now contacting some photographers and makeup artists
• I helped out with my dance school's eisteddfod the last two Sundays. It was full on and long days but worth seeing all the talented dancers!
• I bought a bucket of speckled crispy M&Ms. Delicious!
