NotD | Blue Hearts

Well... they are actually white hearts on a blue background but no well. I'm trying to smash out this post so I can go get ready for bed as I have to leave for school at 5 am!! This design was inspired by another Pinterest search for ideas (here) and I tried to do some more freehand painting. I hope you like it!

For the base coat, I busted out a newie from Maybelline Color Show called Sapphire Siren that I bought a while back but I don't think I used it yet. It applied amazingly with two thin coats. Then I used a thin artist brush and painted outlines of hearts with white acrylic paint. 

I was so pleased that this design lasted almost a week!

I think I'm slowly getting better at freehand painting =) Even with my non-dominant hand! 

I wouldn't mind trying out stamping too.
