Officially Meeting Tesla

I've finally got around to writing about my boy Tesla after getting him about 2 years ago. 

We got Tesla soon after we said goodbye to Zeus as Moose was very sad and lonely. We headed to the Sydney Dogs & Cats Home in Carlton and the RSPCA in Yagoona just to have a look at what was there without any intention of taking a cat home. 

There were these tiny little kittens in the reception area of SDCH and I really liked one of them. We went away and came back after thinking about whether or not to get it and he was gone! So we decided on this little fluff ball!

We got Tesla at 6 weeks old. The photo above was about a week after we took him home as for the first few days he hid under the bookcase and did not trust us yet. We introduced Moose to him a bit later and he made these tiny hisses and Moose wasn't sure what to think of him.

After a long patient wait letting him get use to us, he loved sleeping on and around us on the couch.

Some favourite things Tesla likes to do. Climb!!! The doors, window and gym equipment. The trickier the better! He also loves to drink from the tap. We use to have one of those drinking fountains for him but he chewed through the cord.... Did I mention he also likes to chew cords?? So far, the fountain cord, my Macbook charger and my GHD cord. Oh dear!

Tesla's personality is quite the opposite to Moose's. He is very timid and shy. He is afraid of other people that's not us. Sometimes he pretends to run away when we get home before he realises it's us. After his kitten stage, he stopped being affectionate towards us. But this year he has started being cuddly again. He loves cuddles in bed and sleeping under the covers.

I need to take a photo of his grown body now. He has this beautiful long fluffy tail and cute little black paw pads on his white paws. He is quite fluffy and long now and very comfortable being a part of our little family.
