Bin Things | September

Beware! Lots of stuff being chucked out! I tried to be as brief as I could!
Enjoy!

Some things I've had since coming back from Europe and some were chucked out during the move so this has been accumulating for a couple of months.

Lux Petal Touch Moisturising Body Wash
A light floral pleasant scent. It did the job of a body wash. I didn't notice my skin any softer though.

L'Oreal EverPure Volume Shampoo
L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Conditioner
I enjoyed this pair of shampoo and conditioner by L'Oreal's EverPure range. I bought this at Priceline when they had a voucher offer. I felt that the shampoo cleaned my roots really well and still had some lather. The conditioner worked well on my bleached and coloured ends leaving them very soft. The colour still faded but that was probably due to my hair not able to retain colour very well. I would definitely repurchase these when I finish my current products unless my hairdresser tells me to buy something else.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser
This was a freebie from my chemist days. It's wayyyyyyyyyy past expired and needed to go! I have used this a few years ago and it was a light moisturiser that didn't irritate my skin and gave a very subtle glow.

The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash
I blame Sarah from More Than Adored for introducing me to this line. I love this line as you will see coming up. This is my second tube of this cleanser within a year. I love how it cleanses. Not too drying and keeps my oils in check.

The Body Shop Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator
I wish I bought this earlier on! I love this stuff even more than the cleanser! Every time I used it, I felt like I was in a spa. It's a gel formula with smallish sand granules floating around, just enough for a gently exfoliation. Once I finish my Sanctuary Spa one (which will take forever), I will repurchase this.

Nude By Nature Nature's Soothing Eye Cream
I can't remember how I got this, probably when I worked at Priceline. I didn't really see any difference in my eye area in terms of hydration.

Beauty & Me Avocado Oatment Face Mask
Another way old product that I only used a couple of times. I feel quite meh about it. It has to go.

The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream
This came in the travel sized pack of products. A nice day cream that soaked into the skin quickly and didn't leave a residue on top. It also helped a little with my oil control but I don't remember how much as I used this when I went overseas.

Rimmel Match Perfection in 102 sample
Loved the consistency of this foundation and bought the full size product in the right shade.

Lush Gorgeous Facial Moisturiser
A light moisturiser that sank into the skin quickly.

Nars Sheer Glow in Punjab sample
This didn't really work for my skin. I really wanted it to though!

MaxFactor Xperience Weightless Foundation in 45 tester
Got this when I was working at Priceline, waaaay too dark for me.

Revlon Age Defying Concealer
This had a nice creamy consistency but it's a bit old now.

L'Oreal Nude Magique Blur Cream in medium-dark sachet
This was surprisingly really nice on the face. I thought it might have 'blurred' my skin or it could have been my poor eyesight. I used too much on the first go and it was very slippery but a small amount smoothed out my skin. I may purchase this in the future.

Maybelline The Mega Plush Mascara waterproof
Held my curl. Minimal clumping. Natural looking lashes. Brush was a little difficult to work with. Maybe too bendy?

Maybelline One By One Mascara
Why did I pick up something non-waterproof? The formula was a bit too wet for me and didn't do anything to hold a curl. It was nice on the lower lashes due to the fine rubber bristles.

Ulta3 Clear Lash Mascara
So gross looking! I used this to set my brows. It was alright to use.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara
Got this as a GWP. It's a really nice formula. Massive brush. Made my lashes look thicker but didn't hold a curl =(

Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Crayon in Charcoal
This is sooooo old in my collection that it has gone hard and hurts to use on my eyelids. It pretty much didn't budge though.

Maybelline Define-A-Brow in Dark Brown
This was my first brow pencil product. I made many brow mistakes with this. I like that it's wind up and I used the comb for trimming. I prefer more waxy formulas now.

If you reached this far, well done!!! It feels good to get rid of all this stuff. I'm going to embark on a nail polish declutter soon. I have lots of unloved polishes that need to go!

  1. Oooh great post! I love the Body Shop Seaweed range but I haven't been able to repurchase due to trying to use up other stuff haha. You've done a good job of clearing out some stuff this time around. I also love getting rid of old polishes hehe, clears out room for new ones!! Xx
