I have had an obsession with candles since my high school days. I guess it started when I was younger and the house I lived in had blackouts more than I would have liked. Mum would have HEAPS of those tall candles on hand when we didn't have electricity. Then I started to collect all different types of candles and put them on my bookshelf, saving them for those dark days.
Now having a place of my own, I wanted to get really nice smelling candles. I love going into Dusk and smelling ALL the candles. Daniel... not so much. I don't have too many candles from there as their candles are a bit on the pricey side.
I signed up to Ozsale a few months ago in hopes to nab some great beauty and cosmetics deals. Believe it or not, my first purchase were candles! Last month, I saw some nice looking candles from the brand Chilli Temptations and they priced from $1!!!! I couldn't say no!
So I got 11 candles and 4 candle dishes but one broke in the box =( Who thought it would be a good idea to pack a glass dish at the
bottom of a box full of candles?!?
So I got 8 round 3x2" candles at $1.50 each.

The candles don't have an overpowering smell but hopefully when they burn they'll be more fragrant. I don't like it when candles leave a mark on the furniture so I got some dishes to put the candles on.
Like I said, I did get 4 and one broke. I got 2 squarish ones that are ceramic and two frosted glass ones, only the circular one survived.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Ozsale has $9.95 delivery and if you make any other purchases within the next hour, you don't need to pay for extra delivery. Cool!
