NotD | That's The Point
Hi everyone! The morning has turned grey and rainy. Yesterday was clear and hot (I wrote this yesterday - Sunday). Luckily, I did all my washing yesterday! Now time for another nail post! I stumbled across this design on Pinterest which directed me to this blog post by Devilish Designs. I searched for a teal design as I didn't want to remove the glitter polish from my 'race day nails'. Who hates removing glitter nail polish?! raises hands I hope you like!
I used Rimmel Sky High as the base colour. Mine is starting to go a little thick but I enjoy the brush. It makes it easy to use. On the ring finger nail, I applied Revlon Radiant. I love the glitter. Such a concentrated amount of glitter!
I used the same method of painting the tips as in the video from Devilish Designs. Using Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet and a tiny dotting tool, I made three dots as a guide for the angles. I used the brush from the polish to join the dots together. Two coats was needed. Then with a thin brush, I tried to draw the arrow lines with the same polish. That was a little bit tricker for me. With a medium dotting tool, I placed single dots in the V line and three dots on the thumbs.
Not too shabby I think! I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend!

Really cool design! Mint Sorbet is a beautiful colour - totally up my alley :) I'm a fan of the Revlon glitters as well, especially Whimsical but Radiant looks super shiny and decently dense.
ReplyDeleteI really love the mint colour however, it's wear power isn't impressing me. Somehow it likes to crack after a day of wear hmmm. I would love to try more Revlon polishes. Radiant is amazing!
