Sukin Moisture Restoring Night Cream

Hi everyone!! Man, I'm sweating and it's not even 10 in the morning! Maybe it's all the vacuuming I just did. Anyways, I've got a review on a night cream I'm currently using. Prior to this product, I've been using a lanolin based face cream with sub-par satisfaction. After reading a few reviews on the Sukin brand and this particular product, I ventured out to buy it. And I'm very glad that I did!

Sukin is an Australian brand that specialises in natural skincare. They don't include nasty chemicals such as parabens, synthetic fragrances, SLS, harsh detergents, EDTA and many more. They are 100% vegan, carbon neutral and don't test on animals as well as other good stuff.

I've been using the Sukin Moisture Restoring Night Cream for a couple of months and I am very much enjoying this in my nighttime skincare routine. I have little idea on how night creams should work or feel as I haven't used many of them but this one feels different to the rest! From their website, they describe it as 'a non-greasy, rich nighttime moisturiser. Enriched with rose hip, evening primrose and borage oils to help promote elasticity and protects the skin's moisture barrier'.

This cream doesn't feel too heavy or thick and when applied absorbs quickly into the skin. It has a nice floral/herby scent that is not overpowering. I kind of like that. After applying a facial oil, I normally place four dots on my face, on the cheeks, chin and forehead and then rub it in. If I use any more, it can go a bit greasy or take longer to absorb.

I promise my hands don't look this dry!!!!!!

Looking into my jar, it doesn't look like I've made a dent in the product! I have a feeling this will last me a long time! My skin is oily/combination and since using the Moisture Restoring Night Cream I haven't notice any extra oiliness and my skin feels really soft even when I wake up. I'm really happy with this product!

You can purchase the Moisture Restoring Night Cream (here, $19.99) and other Sukin products at Priceline, Sukin online (here, $19.95 - I think there's a 3 for 2 sale happening too) or you can search for your nearest stocklist here.

Have you tried any Sukin products? Do you recommend other night creams for me to try?

Have a great weekend!

Daily Katness
  • Daniel and I went to see Thor: The Dark World. Oh the ending!!!!
  • Zeus and Moose saved me from a big moth. Zeus ended up eating it.
  • Spotlight (a fabric shop) was soooooo slow the other day. How hard is it to cut up material and why did I have to take a number?
  • Daniel and I went golfing on Sunday. Bad idea. It was very very windy and sand blew everywhere! I think we lost like 4 balls over 9 holes.
  • I used a Maybelline nail polish for the first time and it chipped after less than 24hrs!!! Not impressed.

  1. I love the Sukin range! I have this product too and I only have 1/4 left! I don't use it anymore because my skin is acting up so I'm sticking with Cetaphil for now until it's recovered.

    1. I'm using Cetaphil after the shower for moisturising, so good for sensitive dry skin! Hope it gets better soon!
