Tag | Why Do You Wear Makeup?

Hello everyone! I have a quick post for you all this afternoon as I'm busying myself doing the house work and then going to dance class tonight. Hope you like. I guess I wouldn't be writing this blog if I wasn't into in love with makeup, right? I was tagged by the lovely and fellow cat obsessed beauty lover, Beth from Crazy Cat Beauty to do the 'Why do you wear makeup' tag . I like this one as it's short and sweet haha - sometimes I'm a tad lazy at typing... Here we go!

1. When did you begin loving makeup?

I started working in pharmacy when I was in Year 10 (high school) and loved trying all the Clarins/Lancome and the regular 'chemist makeup brands' products that were in the store. However, it wasn't until about 2-3 years ago when I got good internet speed, that I started watching YouTube videos. I have no idea how I got into beauty videos but I am now subscribed to soooo many! That got me really interested in makeup and beauty products but I still didn't buy much. It wasn't until my work turned into a Priceline that I started to try and by more... and more makeup! It's kind of funny thinking back as I wasn't a fan of the change and I didn't know what being a 'Priceline' would do to the business. Luckily it was a change for the good! I wish I still worked there!

2. How do you feel without makeup?

Honestly, pretty gross haha. Not in a 'I feel terrible about myself' sort way though. Sometimes when I don't any anything on my face, I feel really sluggish and I just want to lay around all day. A little bit of that isn't bad for you but I like to keep myself doing things so I feel like I've gotten something out of the day. Of course I have gone out without makeup on but I have to make sure my face is clean and freshly moisturised. Although Daniel doesn't notice when I have makeup on or not - hmmm.

3. What do you like about makeup?

I like how putting on makeup (if it's right) makes you look and feel really good. I like how a lot of makeup is affordable and they are good quality. I like how you can never have enough 'red' lipsticks (or anything else) and that's ok. I like how you can sit down with your makeup and decide how it will transform your look for the day.. or night =) It's an investment right????  Hahahaa

4. What are three of your holy grail makeup products?

Hmmmm this is a tough one!

• Moose ate a daddy longlegs spider last night - one leg at a time... poor spider.
• I haven't had much luck with public transport lately. Trains just do their own thing.
• Work has been pretty crazy - so many experiments! You should see my work space... or not.
• So Priceline had another 40% off cosmetics sale - of course I had to stop by! I'll do a haul post soon maybe?
• I love crumbing chicken myself. It tastes so good!
• Daniel bought a Nerf gun for when the kitties jump on the bench, Moose thinks it's a game *sigh*

• I get so excited when I see my followers' count go up =)
