You Are My Only... My Only One | Yellowcard
Hello lovelies! What is this November?? Where has the year gone? Let's not think about that too much and get started with the post! Last weekend, Daniel and I went to see one of my favourite bands during my high school years, Yellowcard. They are a pop/punk band from Florida and have some really nice songs. I saw them in concert back in 2005 I think, so I was extremely excited when I heard they were coming back to Aus!

The concert was held at the Enmore Theatre in Newtown. I feel that Newtown is so hip and the people there are so quirky, I felt so out of place haha. Before the concert, we had dinner at a cafe called Cafe Ole, kind of like Nandos but their chips weren't as good.

Toy Boats
At the Enmore, we had front row seats on the upper level. When I was younger, I would have braved the mosh pit even though I was (and still am) so short that I wouldn't see anything. The supporting act was Toy Boats from Byron Bay. He was a really down to earth guy rocking to his acoustic guitar. Although I haven't heard of him before then, I enjoyed his performances.
I was really excited when Yellowcard came out onstage. They played my favourite album of theirs, Ocean Avenue, as full acoustic set. Then they played a selection of songs from their later albums. I must admit, I didn't know many of those.
Ryan Key... mmmm
What I liked about the show was that we got to sing along and parts of songs, Sean the violinist got cameras from the audience and filmed onstage and he did his famous backflip off the drum platform. and Ryan the lead singer was awesome on his guitars. It definitely took me back to my younger years.
Now I need to get their Ocean Avenue Acoustic album as well as their last 2 albums, I'm such a bad fan haha. My FotD, I decided to go with smokey purple eyes and nude lips with wavy hair.
Here's one of Yellowcard's music video that is in the title post from their album Ocean Avenue, Only One, I hope you like it! Time to top coat the glitter polish...
