A Night with the Ladies | Orient Hotel

Hello everyone! I have a lame headache right now. It could be a mixture of the heat and the travel home. Today I tried driving a bit further and catching a train at a different station. It was good in the morning but I got home the same time as my regular way home. Still 2 hours... Anyway, I'm laying down on the couch so my head doesn't have to do much work. I don't want to think about dinner yet. Lots of pics in this post!

Last week on a school night, I went to the city with some ladies from work. I'm not much of a city traveller so I love getting new experiences. We had a lovely dinner at the Orient Hotel which was at The Rocks, right on the harbour. There was this huge cruise liner that was about to leave.. HUGE!

We has pre-drinks down at the bar before we headed up to the restaurant. We had a selection of dishes to choose from. I got the pan fried calamari and the chicken involtini. Both were delicious and wonderfully cooked!

We had a lovely long chat after dinner. We had planned to visit the Christmas lights around the city but we ended up going to Martin Place to see the giant Christmas tree. I cannot express how much fun I had with these ladies. Oh the stories! Never to be repeated on here though.
