NotD(s) | Let It Snow & Rudolph

Hello everyone!! I've been so busy the last couple of weeks and it has left me very tired and want to sleep all the time. Let's do a double nail post tonight!

Last week, I went with a cool blue and silver snow look. The base colours were Rimmel Misty Jade and Your Majesty and Covergirl Midnight Magic. I used Your Majesty to paint snowflakes, snow and ribbons on top of the blue base. I added some extra sparkle with Essie Silver Bullions. I was so busy last week that I ended up having this design on for the whole week!

Last night I had to change my nails. I 'hit the wall' at work (the chemist) and craved sleep but I wanted something new to show the ladies at my weekday work. I searched through Pinterest for an easy reindeer design. Of course my tiredness only allowed me to do two reindeers. I'm pretty proud of them!

I used my newly acquired Maybelline Color Show in Keep Up The Flame (red) as the base and on top of it, Gold's Night Out. For Rudolph, his head was made with Rimmel Caramel Cupcake, antlers were Mavala Ginza and eyes with Sally Hansen White On and L'Oreal Black Swan.

Just a quick thought. I really liked the Maybelling Color Show polishes. This red has a nice consistency where you don't have to work quickly to smooth it on to the nail. The glitter is very opaque, I only did one coat as I wanted the red to peak through.
