Zeus wanted it all to himself!

Hi everyone! How are you going?? Today's post is the belated Blogger KK that was hosted by the lovely ladies, Melody and Jasmine last Christmas. I love getting packages and especially delivered by some young postie guy *wink wink*. I couldn't believe my KK was Jasmine!!! I've been following her blog before I started my own and have so much respect and awe for what she does on her blog! Here is what she so nicely gifted to me =) And the story of its journey.

Jasmine sent me a Christmas card with a lovely message inside as well as a yummy candy cane. She has her own business card too!!! Too cool! The gifts were wrapped up as little packages in some bubble wrap and wrapping paper. Zeus started to play with one of the presents and I had to yank it from his teeth!

Australis Intensifeye Wet/Dry Eyeshadow in Choc-A-Block

I'm pretty sure I have not used/purchased any Australis makeup products. When I worked at Priceline, the brand never really jumped out at me even though now, there is a lot of hype and good reviews on many of their products. You cannot go wrong with a brown eyeshadow quad! I'm interested to try their 'wet' and 'dry' applications. The shades are all wearable and this might be my go-to quad once my Rimmel brown smokey quad runs out!

Australis Lip & Cheek Combo Creme Colour in Dusk Til Dawn

This Australis product is multipurpose with two creme shades that can be used on the cheeks or lips. There's a cool bright coral and a dusty mauve. I would probably use this on the cheeks only. Having used only used 2 creme cheek products in my lifetime and own one currently, this will add a nice dewy flush to my makeup routine.

The first thing I noticed was how cute the bottle was. There's like this little dip on the edge of the bottle. I wasn't familiar with the look to a brand and after a bit of searching on the label, I noticed some Korean writing and the tiny, tiny name on the handle. The polish is a lovely creme baby peach shade. The formula looks like it'll be a nice consistency and it smells truly of nail polish haha. A cool, oriental addition to my collection. (I had a blue Hello Kitty nail polish from Japan but it became unusable).

I find that jewellery from this store has a nicer quality than those from say, Equip and Diva. This is such a cute necklace. I would still wear this out of season because that's just who I am ;) I have these really old gold reindeer earrings that would make a great pair with this necklace for next Christmas!

So for this Blogger KK, we had a limit of Aus $20 and were given a little bit of information on the person we were buying for. When I didn't receive any mail by Boxing Day, I emailed Melody to see if anything happened. She told me that my KK already sent the parcel so I should get it soon. The New Year came and I still hadn't received anything. Then I got an email from Jasmine telling me that she was my KK and that the reason I hadn't got my mail was that the rain had ruined the address and some of the products inside and it got returned to her. She assured me that she will post it again, with undamaged products, later on in the day. Jasmine was so lovely in her email and I couldn't be angry or anything at something that was out of her control. Damn weather! I am so grateful, happy, excited for everything that Jasmine got me. I love it all! Thank you!!!
