A Sublime Climb | Bulli Tops

One of Daniel's friends suggested for us to go on a trek to a place called Sublime Point. So this morning, I got my exercise gear on and we headed out to Austinmer. After winding up a long stretch of road, we also missed the sign at the start of the walk (it actually said Gibson walk, I was a little confused). It was cool morning, great conditions for a walk. Little did I know how tiresome it was going to be.

This will pretty much a photo-filled blog post. Hope you enjoy it!

So the sign just after this said: "Fit walkers only. Steep ladders." Should have kept that in mind.

Did the sign say steep steps too? This was about 100m into the track and I was puffed!

The first ladder....

The fourth ladder, I think... Looking down.

Various selfies of my exhaustion.

My legs were burning. My lungs were sore! This steepness was almost all the way there!

Reaching Sublime Point
The view at the top! Beautiful! There's actually more to the left. I forgot to do a panorama shot.

This scenic lookout is a lovely place for weddings. There were lots of padlocks attached to the fence which were inscribed with loving memories.

Going back down. My knees were shaking! No more sweating though thank goodness!

Yeah, it was pretty high.

So basically I only looked at what was straight ahead of my feet which were steps and more steps. The view was great on the journey to the top when I had my many rest breaks. Should definitely try some more walks out.

Sorry for the lengthy post, at least there wasn't much to read.
Hope you all are having a great weekend!
Happy Father's Day for tomorrow!

xxx Kat
