You've Got Mail | Rimmel London Surprise!

When I got home this afternoon I noticed a package sticking out from my mailbox. I thought it was the ICE order I made online which had finally arrived. I looked on the back of the package and it said it was from COTY (so no ICE stuff, sad face). Being an ex-Priceliner, I new it was something good!! After opening up the package I found out that I had won a competition that was hosted by Rimmel. I've been entering a few competitions via Facebook and Instagram lately, so I don't remember the specific competition.

I was so excited receiving this surprise mail! Who doesn't love winning things?! I was lucky enough to get two lipsticks from the Rimmel London Kate Moss line, one was a Lasting Finish and the other a Matte Finish. I currently own a few lipsticks by Rimmel but I don't think I have any from the new Kate Moss line.

I got number 26 from the regular Lasting Finish line. It's a lovely caramel mid-nude. I was thinking of looking at some more nudes the other day actually. From the tube, it did look a little light for me but I haven't tried it on my lips yet. Hopefully, it works out. I like the formula or the regular Lasting Finish lipsticks. They are shiny and moisturising.

From the Lasting Finish Matte line I got number 103 which from the tube looks like a medium pink with a slight warmth to it. I'm really excited by the look of this shade, it's a colour I'm very drawn to. I haven't had much luck with matte finish lip products. Probably due to my lips becoming dry very easily. Anyhow, I will try this out soon!

• Got woken up at 2.30 this morning due to the wind and took an hour and a cup of hot water with honey to get me sleeping again
• Moose got into the food container yesterday - he won the lottery
• I really don't like people who make noise in a quiet train carriage. I sat next to a man who hummed all the way home!
• Had to make another batch of nutrient agar
• If I can't find something, it's usually because Zeus has knocked it on to the floor and played with it such as my nail polish and bobby pins
