Spending Ban Fail!
So it has been a whole month since I started this blog, I cannot believe how quickly it flew by! In my first post I announced a spending ban as I knew I would pretty tight on money. However, last month I ended up going to more dinners and outings than I expected thus using up the money I was going to save from not by beauty stuff *sigh*. At least the time spent with good company was worth it. I did buy a few things which I needed and then Priceline's 40% skincare sale at the end of last month broke me - cannot resist a good saving!
Polished London Bristol Bloom Dry Shampoo (rrp $4.95) - I finished my mini Batiste and was in need of another. At Priceline, the price of Polished London lured me to get it over the Batiste one. I haven't used this brand before so I'm hoping it works well. Sarah mentioned this brand in another scent in her July favourites so I have a good feeling about this one.
Revlon Extra Curl Eyelash Curler (rrp $15.99) - If you have read some of my other posts, my previous eyelash curler from Eylure (lasted a pretty long time) decided to chomp off some of my lashes. This was 20% off at the time and it was the one I like the look of. Still waiting for my lashes to regain their lengths so I can try it!
Revlon Matte Top Coat (rrp $13.95) - I remember seeing a matte top coat from Rimmel and I haven't been able to find it ever since (or any other matte top coat). When I came across this one from Revlon I didn't want to lose the opportunity (sounds lame as I can buy any brand online) so I snapped it up! I used it to make this look of black matte tips over OPI Under My Trench Coat.
Priceline's 40% off skincare sale - I couldn't help myself this time but I didn't get a lot of things. Most are a repurchase and they came in under $30!!
Maybelline Total Clean Express makeup remover (rrp $6.95) - I'm almost out of my Neutrogena one so needed another but I saw a whole bin of this makeup remover. Hope it doesn't sting my eyeballs.
T.N Dickinson's Witch Hazel toner ($6.59) - I love this stuff! It doesn't dry out my skin and leaves it feeling refreshed.
Olay Complete UV Lotion for Oily/Combination skin (rrp $14.69) - I have this one for sensitive skin and am really enjoying. I'll be using this one as the months gets warmer.
Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes double pack (rrp $10.99) - I bought another set during last month so now I have 4 packs as back ups. These are my absolute favourite makeup remover wipes! They are very moist so they leave the skin makeup free and soft to touch.
Sukin Revitalising Facial Scrub (rrp $9.99) - I was looking for the new Clearasil scrub but couldn't find it. I spent quite a while searching for another scrub as I haven't used one in a while. My favourite is the St Ive's apricot scrub but wanting to try something new. I've heard many great reviews of the Sukin brand so I thought to give this one a go. (I wish I got some other products from this brand as other bloggers have recently said they had some favourite products from there *doh*).
Did you get anything during Priceline's 40% off sale? Add your link if you blogged about it below.

P.s. I just got my Priceline voucher in the mail. I cannot believe I spent THAT much last quarter... so ashamed!
