NotD | Glitter & Sparkles
The Glitterati nail polishes from Face of Australia (FoA) have been talked about a lot a few months ago and for some reason, I wasn't really drawn into them at that moment. I decided to give at least one a go as I do like glitter polishes (not removing them from my nails *sigh*). I bought Heart of Glass about a month ago and it has been sitting in my collection unloved. I finally whipped it out to give myself a break from some nail art.
Heart of Glass is definitely in the safe category of polishes for me. It has a pale pink base with some glitters floating around that are hexagons, squares, rectangles and circles. After the first thin coat, there wasn't a lot of glitter placed on the nails but I loved the base colour. I love this baby pink! I ended up using three thin coats and tried to place extra glitter on the nails. I enjoy the variety of glitter pieces as well as the randomness of each nail. The only thing I don't like about it is the brush. It is long with a flat bottom. It didn't make applying the polish easy and the glitters didn't come off easily. The formula was on the thinner side so working with the brush wasn't too difficult.
Overall, I think it was a good purchase. I love the colours and how it creates a cute, girly look. I just noticed red hearts in the glitter too! Cool!
Do you like the Glitterati polishes? Link me your post if you have one. Have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteIt was good thanks. Much more spread out than the other ones we've been to. We'll try to make it to that one! It'll be good to see different stalls.
