NotD | Pink Confetti & Go The Blues!
Hi everyone! I wish I was posting a bit more but I seem to be busy every time I get home from work and miss out on the lovely lighting for photos! So just quickly, I'll put up some pictures of a nail look I had this week and one I literally just completed and waiting to dry. Hope you like them!!
Pink Confetti
This look was inspired by Amy's post she did a few days ago. I thought it was really cute and girly! And it looked easy and quick! Bonus!
So I went a little crazy with the dots. Compared to Amy's neat design, mine is all over the place and I forgot to put glitter on top. I had many compliments on my nails, even one from a lady working at Priceline haha. I used four nail polish colours to create this look. The deep pink in Rimmel Jazz Funk, the light pink on the ring finger is L'Oreal Marie Antoinette (202), the medium pink is a mini OPI one which I don't know the name of and lastly Sally Hansen White On for the white (duh).
Go the Blues!
So the AFL elimination finals are happening and Daniel's really excited as the team he goes for, Carlton Blues, is still in it and they're playing the Swans tomorrow night. To show my support as I know I'll be watching the game, I decided to have a Carlton theme for the weekend. My original plan was to do their logo and glitter tips. However, I watched MissJenFabulous (video) before I started which inspired me to do some extra designs.
Carlton's colours are navy blue and white so I used Rimmel Blue Me Away and Sally Hansen White On made a comeback. The base colour on my ring fingers is very newly purchased Essie Mezmerised and on the top is Revlon Radiant. I went with a copper metallic, Covergirl Perfect Penny, purely as a contrast to the dark colours. I used a small, soft paintbrush for the logo work dipped in some nail polish remover to thin the consistency of the nail polish. That part took the longest as it was my first time doing such precise work.
What do you think of my handy work?
Any plans for the weekend?
Thanks for reading!

Enjoyed getting food out of his toy by knocking it about.
